5-7 Days Prior Avoid: Laser hair removal, waxing, depilatory creams, electrolysis
3 Days Before Discontinue: Topical retinoids and tretinoin (Retin-A, Renova, Differin, Tazorac)
Other topical acids or exfoliants that may be drying or irritating, (such as alpha hydroxy acids, beta hydroxyl acids, retinols, hydroquinone, and benzoyl peroxide acne products)
What to expect after your Obagi Blue Peel:
3 Days Post Peel you may start using your active skin care products
You may experience mild flaking or no flaking - each patient is different
Contraindications to the Blue Peel:
- Currently pregnant
- Allergy to Aspirin
- Active cold sores, herpes simplex, or warts in the area to be treated
- Wounded, sunburned, or excessively sensitive skin within the application area
